So what do you think? should he have been let out?
I personally I think yes. Because of several reasons. And the biggest one is because i don’t think he did it. People say it’s a miscarriage of justice, but that would be ironic when the real miscarriage of justice was locking him up in the first place.
Why did the bombings happen in the first place? would that be because america blew up an iranian passenger plane only months before killing 300 people, never apologised and got medals! and naturally iran would want revenge for that crime. But of course when the lockerbie bombing did happen, america couldn’t blame iran. After all, iran has got some pretty big weapons.
So what would they do. Oh yes, withhold several pieces of key evidence and come up with some very flimsy evidence to blame another country, how about libya. The evidence is so flimsy against migrahi than for it’s unbelievable. Once the suitcase of which the bomb was inside was found, they managed to find a piece of clothing which was also in the suitcase which they tracked back to a shop in malta where they asked the shopkeeper who had bought it and he said it was migrahi. Remember this was 1988 in a shop in malta, no cctv. How could this guy remember who had bought something a week ago easily let alone months ago which is pretty much impossible. It’s also suspicious how the americans paid him a few million. Very suspicious.
And then there is the fact that there was a reported break in to luggage at heathrow, when the bomb was seemingly put on before that.
People seem to forget all this when they are busy ranting on about what a bad decision kenny macAskill made.
Especially americans who have been blinded by the propaganda machine called fox news. Some have plans on boycotting scotland. How childish is that.
They say what scotland/britain did was for the oil. Somehow i don’t think so. They say it was ‘weak’. Weak is doing what America wants to do all the time, like invading countries ironically for the oil.
I was on fox news website today and i went on the survey to put my vote in that i thought he should have been freed. Only 3% of americans who did the vote thought he should have been freed. I thought BBC news could be quite partial sometimes, but fox wowed me.
And now lets think about if he definately did do it. I wouldn’t be so quite in favour of his release, but what’s a dying man going to do. You might as well show compassion. Don’t treat them as they treat you. Be the better man. Show compassion. America’s full of christians (especially fundamentalists) but they’re not getting this idea yet forgiving being a major part of it’s philosophy. Did ghandi and martin luther king do what they did in vein.
And it doesn’t f***ing make you weak when you do that. It doesn’t make britain an easy target by saying this, it doesn’t attract terrorists. If anything it will let terrorists think for a moment about what they’re doing, the evil B*****ds they may be. Striking back will only provoke further attacks. Somebody has to end the vicious circle and i’m glad kenny mcaskill at least attempted at it. And when they go on about shame, it just makes me feel sick. Ashamed of what?
Just seen The One Show, which unfortunately has that bitch myleene klass which i can call her a bitch for many reasons, including working with derek acorah which is criminal and writing a nasty article about derren brown. They went to aberdeen to interview people on the street asking them if it has brought shame on scotland. People’s ignorance annoys me intensly. What happened to looking at both sides of the argument. But the media doesn’t like that.
The comments from some americans (not all, because not all americans are complete idiots, just like any other nation) make me sick. I’ve seen really nasty ones, suggesting britain should be attacked and bombed etc. People are so ignorant it’s unbelievable.
America- the land of the corrupt.
