On monday i decided to spray some lead into some friends of mine. Didn’t kill any of them, but that’s Cause paintballs only leave bruises.
Yep, I went paintballing. There was about 14 of us there, organised mostly by my pal Rabz. I looked pretty mean with all my gear on, guns blazing, popping a cap in there ass sort of thing, but our team did shit. Once again I’ll blame Dean for one of my failures, but that is because he is a bitch. One cool son of a bitch.
First match, defending the fortress, camped for a while, just waiting. Then BANG chestshot. I was pretty mad.
Second match. Trench Warfare. A pretty big map with a nicely emplemented bridge in the middle. This is where i came into my element. A slow start. I watched as my team mates were slowly picked off. All that remained was me and 4 enemys. I used a flanking tactic, where i saw them then run round them and popped them while i crouched, keeping my profile as low as possible. I got two of them, halfing there little army. But then i was caught in a duel-off, i got the first shot, but she shot at the same time, eliminating me. But still though, got 3 of the enemy using only about 20 paintballs. I was pretty happy.
I could go on about how great i was, but to be honest, i was a bit bollocks after that, using loads of paintballs long range and getting nobody. I put on my glasses for the last few games, and that really upped my long range play.
Second last game. Trench warfare again but capture the flag. Our team split up in two groups to cover more area. My group were picked off within a couple of minutes. leaving me in a populated enemy area all by myself. I persisted, keeping close to the sides of the trenches and keeping low. I waited for them to come, then got a head shot on Rabz. I moved back a little realising there were 2 more of them, and sat in a secure position. They came and i got a shoulder shot one one of them, but then SHIT, i run out of fucking paintballs. Sweet Jesus i was pissed. I was on fire at that point and was about to shoot down another guy, but my only option was to put my hand up and leave. As I left i realised that we still had four more people left in our group. But then Colin ran out of paintballs. Our only real chance at winning disappeared. Although it was funny at the end when Carl (in the opposite team) charged round the corner and got gunned down with about 5 paintballs, he lay there in the bottom of the trench while everyone laughed. He was takin away in a navy blue body bag.
It was a damn good day.
